Pacha Conservancy Project

Pacha Conservancy Project - For a greener future - Cusco, Peru

Pacha is the quechua word for Mother Earth. We chose this name because we are a committed to protecting and restoring the balance of nature to the world and the place we work.

In the earliest years of our formal education we were taught that we should all plant a tree during our life time. However, in spite of being aware of that teaching, many of us have not put that into practice.

The simple act of planting a tree helps you and your children´s future. Imagine, if all the people around the world planted just one tree, our world would be a greener place that provides habitat for wildlife and helps in the fight against climate change. The presence of trees in our immediate environment is so normal that we tend to forget their immense value.

Trees not only lessen the amount of greenhouse gases in our environment. Trees also help filter and clean the air in our surroundings. All types of living things benefit from the presence of trees in their daily lives.

It would be great if all the people in this world planted just one a tree. We would love to live long enough to see this happen.
